Diversity in Schools

Understanding the graph:

  • Students included in the calculations for this section include K-12 students at public schools.
  • The graphs above depict race and ethnicity, first by the 2015-2016 academic year then the 2012-2013 academic year, followed by gender (also split by the two academic years). To see all the graphs, click the black arrow at the bottom of the graph to view each individually.

Findings:

  • Fond du Lac County (WI) falls in the middle in regards to race and ethnicity diversity in comparison with the other counties. Fond du Lac County (WI) has also seen an increase in diversity over the past three years.
  • Fond du Lac County (WI) has seen a slight increase in the female student population, which is on par with Macon County (IL) and Dubuque County (IA) – all three of which are holding the top counties with the greatest female student population as of the 2015-2016 academic year.
