The Data

The state of our economy impacts both residents and businesses. Economic data on where our money is spent helps us understand the flow of money in our community, specifically as it relates to housing and transportation costs. In this category, we’ll take a look at child care facilities, cost of living, hosing and transportation costs, poverty, unemployment rates and more.

Why is this data important?

Understanding the factors affecting our economy allows us to understand where our community is thriving and how to better leverage assets to grow population, in-migration of new talent, etc. The economy is the driving force of many areas of our community for both residents and businesses and it’s important we understand how this impacts our daily lives.
