Understanding the graph:

• The graph aggregates all three Wisconsin county school districts into one graph. Light blue representing Fond du Lac County (WI) school districts, dark blue representing Manitowoc County (WI) school districts, and gray representing Sheboygan County (WI) school districts.
• Since the source of this data is coming from a Wisconsin database, only Wisconsin counties are reported.
• The percentages reported are based on 3^rd grade students scoring either proficient or advanced on the English Language Arts (ELA) portion of the Forward Exam. The Forward Exam is a tool to benchmark school district against the Wisconsin Academic Standards, which are standards set to ensure students are ready for college and a career.

Findings:

• Sheboygan County (WI) holds the top two school districts with the highest percent of 3^rd grade students ELA scores.
