Demographics to understand our community.
Demographics data is the first step in understanding the community in which we live, work and play. The data contained in the demographics category is designed to provide insight on our community compared to other communities with similar make-ups. For the purpose of this study, we’re focusing specifically on the factors of: age, gender, population, race and ethnicity and veteran population.
A healthy community is comprised of a variety of different factors. It is important to understand the make-up of our community prior to advising and working toward any changes. While this is only surface level data, it paints a vibrant picture of the diversity in our community.
